Blake Lively’s family life with Ryan, four children, and an endless supply of humor

Blake Lively grew up in a large family as the youngest of five children.

Although the loving aunt told E! News in 2014, before of the birth of her first child, «I’m always the person who’s taking everyone else’s kid and putting them on my hip, so I’ve kinda always been a mama,»

she acknowledged that she wasn’t the one doing the babysitting while growing up in Burbank, California. We’ll see, then. As it happened, she was only beginning.

She now has four children with her spouse, Ryan Reynolds. The always entertaining pair welcomed a little brother, baby Olin, into their family last year along with daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.

Having gotten the hang of being a girl dad, Reynolds, who has three elder brothers, admitted that he was «kind of hoping» they’d have another girl.

Naturally, however, as the actor who had seen Frozen too many times to count was keen to point out on TODAY, they’d be «ready for whatever happens.» With a hint of mental frostbite.

Before the 2023 Super Bowl, the ultra-private couple’s concern was addressed when Lively announced that she was no longer pregnant in a wink-wink Instagram post on February 12.

And by now, everyone is aware that there won’t be any more information to come. Although Lively isn’t too precious to publish a picture of her breast pump,

she and Reynolds have some unforgiveable guidelines about what they post on social media, and the first one is that they cannot post any pictures of their children.

Leaving Reynolds to use his own style of parenting anecdotes to vividly depict their home life.

He remembered telling Lively in 2015 that he would take a bullet for her because he loved her more than anything. When they finally had James, he declared, «the second I looked in that baby’s eyes,

I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby,» on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The new father even rhapsodized to E! at the time, saying, «You have a big stupid smile on your face,» even after waking up in the middle of the night.

You would kill anything else that woke you up every 45 minutes. However, having a baby is the nicest thing you have ever experienced.»
