Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds enjoyed a fun evening at a musical screening, joined by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are embracing the excitement of this fall’s box office sensation!
On Tuesday, December 3, the couple attended a special screening of Wicked: Part One at Metrograph in New York City. They posed for photos alongside the film’s stars, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

For the occasion, Lively sported a chic white suit jacket over a matching shirt and light blue jeans, paired with red shoes that evoked the iconic ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz. Reynolds, in contrast, went for an all-beige ensemble as the couple stood between Wicked stars Erivo, 37, and Grande, 31.
This gathering marked a significant moment for all four, with major box office success to their names.

Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine is the second highest-grossing film of 2024 in North America, while Wicked has already reached No. 6 less than two weeks after its November 22 release.
After wrapping up promotions for their summer projects, Reynolds and Lively, who share four young children, have kept a low profile. In October, they celebrated Reynolds’ birthday by attending a Broadway show of & Juliet and later visited New Orleans to catch Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
However, neither actor has any upcoming film releases in the near future.

During his appearance on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast on November 7, Ryan Reynolds shared that he plans to spend the upcoming year focused on writing a new film for himself and his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman, along with their director Shawn Levy.
He emphasized that the project is not related to Marvel.

Responding to a question about possibly hosting the 2025 Academy Awards—during which Wicked: Part One is expected to be a strong contender for awards—Reynolds explained, «I have four kids, and I actually—spoiler alert—love my kids.»
He added that after the extensive process of bringing Deadpool & Wolverine to the big screen, he’s prioritizing family time. “The next 12 months are going to be all about spending time with my kids,” he said.
