At the Governors Awards 2024, Pamela Anderson dazzles in an all-black ensemble devoid of makeup

At the 2024 Governors Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles, Pamela Anderson looked stunning in a long, loose-fitting black dress.

The 57-year-old former Baywatch star accessorized her modest ensemble with subtle, round-toed shoes that were almost hidden by her dress.

As she showed off her glowing, freckled face, the mother-of-two, who is starring in Gia Coppola’s forthcoming drama The Last Showgirl, adhered to her makeup-free routine.

With free strands framing her face, her distinctive blond hair was put into a low ponytail and split down the center.

Anderson plays a seasoned performer in The Last Showgirl who has to decide what to do with her career after her show ends suddenly after thirty years.

A first-look teaser for the film, which is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025, enthralled viewers and generated Oscar talk last week.

Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, and Jamie Lee Curtis are also included.

Anderson has raised hopes that the portrayal would earn her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Variety writer Peter Debruge, meanwhile, hailed Curtis’ portrayal as a «force of nature.»

«Anderson is remarkable in this role, which fits her own natural optimism but also gives her the chance to play her emotions laid bare,» observed Pete Hammond of Deadline. Your heart will be broken by her.

«Her dramatic skills have never been there before, definitely not on this scale,» the critic went on to say.

«I have always thought she was an underrated comedic actress, based especially on her short-lived 2005 sitcom Stacked.» She is fully committed to this.

Anderson’s most recent performance was in the 2017 Baywatch movie, when she played the legendary character of CJ Parker.

In January 2023, she released her memoir, Love, Pamela, and participated in her Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story.

Pamela stated that she had «been getting ready my whole life for this role» before the film’s September Toronto International Film Festival debut.

«It’s amazing to draw from having a beautiful, messy life, and sometimes I’ll look back on my life and think, I could have done this differently, but you need the life experience to be able to look back and say those things,» she said.
