At the IT Ends with Us premiere afterparty in New York City on Tuesday, August 6, the actress, 36, radiated ultrafeminine energy while wearing a Versace corseted minidress.
Lively’s dress had a flowing skirt and a lace hem, along with a lace corset and side ruching.
She accessorized her look with a set of flower-shaped embellished drop earrings, which she has been wearing during the marketing of her most recent movie as
a tribute to her character Lily Bloom and her flower shop, and matching pink Christian Louboutin Emilie adorned sandals.
In another homage to the film, Lively complemented her dress with a glittering purple pocketbook shaped like yet another flower and a stack of multicolored studded rings and bracelets.
Her Versace ensemble was a continuation of the Versace outfit that she had debuted earlier in the evening, which Britney Spears had worn in 2002.
The retro outfit was ideal for the floral dressing theme. Lively has been wearing a one-shoulder halter neckline, sheer paneling, and multicolored sequin flowers adorning her waist all summer.
On the red carpet, Lively said to PEOPLE, «It’s Britney’s actual dress.» «The Smithsonian or the Met should have it. However, I’m responsible. I’m quite fortunate.»
The former cast member of Gossip Girl was joined at the afterparty by Isabela Ferrer, who costarred with her in It Ends with Us and plays the younger version of the character.
Ferrer wore a bouquet-shaped purse, embellished heels, and a pink minidress with embroidered flowers.
With their loose waves in their hair and matching rosy pink lip and blush, the actors looked identical, almost like twins.
