Ariana Grande looked effortlessly stunning in a champagne-colored midi dress at the Golden Globes first-time nominee luncheon, held at the Maybourne Beverly Hills.

Arriving at the glamorous event, the 31-year-old *Wicked* star beamed with excitement as she made her way down the red carpet alongside her mother, Joan Grande, who was her date for the day.

For the occasion, Ariana styled her strawberry blonde hair in sleek, straight locks with flipped ends and chose a sophisticated makeup look featuring shimmering eyeshadow, dramatic false lashes, and a rosy pink lipstick.

Keeping her accessories minimal, she wore only a pair of stud earrings and a single ring on her pointer finger. Her polished French manicure and satin high heels, which gave her a little extra height, completed her elegant look.

Earlier this month, Ariana received her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Galinda, also known as Glinda the Good Witch, in *Wicked*.

Since its release on November 22, the film has grossed $372 million worldwide.

During the promotional tour for *Wicked*, Ariana Grande discussed her career aspirations for the next decade and revealed plans to shift her focus. While she affirmed that she will «always do pop stuff,» the singer expressed a desire to prioritize her acting career at this stage in her life.

«I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to perform onstage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise,» she assured her fans.

«I think I love acting,» Ariana Grande shared. «I have a deep passion for musical theater. Reconnecting with that part of myself, the one who started in musical theater and loves comedy, is really healing for me.»

 

Ariana began her entertainment career at the age of 15, performing on Broadway.

Reflecting on her future in acting, she added, «I’d love to continue, as long as it feels right or the roles are a good fit—where I can truly do the material justice. I think that would be the best path for me.»
