Angelina Jolie’s curly hairdo during premiere of her new film Maria after trailer sparks Oscar excitement

At the Saturday AFI Fest premiere of her new film, Maria, in Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie made her debut with a new curly hairstyle.

Ever since a new teaser for the Netflix film was released, the 49-year-old has been the focus of Oscar rumors.

Jackie director Pablo Larrain directed the film Maria, which starred Angelina as the renowned opera singer Maria Callas during her terminal decline in Paris in the 1970s.

Angelina surprised her admirers to a brand-new, voluminous hairstyle that evoked the 1980s at the most recent event for her new film.

Angelina’s opulent curls in a dark-to-lighter-brown color stream are a striking contrast to the smooth, straight blonde hair she has been sporting at functions lately.

The mother of six slipped her slender body into a gold dress that gleamed in the spotlights for Saturday night’s glitzy red carpet.

After that, she covered herself with a sophisticated black wrap with sleeves that resembled robes, creating an outfit that would have fit Callas herself well.

She accentuated her recognizable movie star features with a coat of blood-red lipstick and topped the ensemble off with pearl earrings for a glamorous touch.

The tweet said, ‘Manifesting: Angelina Jolie Best Actress Oscar Winner.’ Additionally, an X user edited a picture of Jolie grinning broadly while holding an Academy Award.

A summary states that Maria ‘follows the American-Greek singer as she retires to Paris after a dazzling and difficult existence in the public eye.’

As the diva wrestles with her identity and existence, the movie attempts to «reimagine the legendary soprano in her final days.»

She passed away at the age of 53 from a heart attack in Paris in 1977.

The much awaited film will be available for viewing in cinemas in November and on Netflix in December.

Before making its Netflix premiere on the streaming service on December 11, the movie will be released in cinemas across the United States on November 27.

Jolie has won several accolades during her career, including a Tony Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Golden Globes.
