Angelina Jolie wowed in all-white at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 3, her first major appearance since finalizing her divorce from Brad Pitt.
The 49-year-old actress wore a chic white blazer and pants with nude heels, styling her long blonde hair with new bangs. Her makeup was kept simple with a rosy pink lip.
Jolie was there to accept the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her portrayal of opera singer Maria Callas in the Netflix biopic *Maria*, with festival chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi praising her «extraordinary» performance.
Her appearance came shortly after news broke that she and Pitt had officially settled their divorce, ending years of legal battles, including disputes over custody of their six children and their $164 million French estate.
The couple first separated in 2016, and though they were declared legally single in 2019, they continued to clash over their assets. Despite the settlement, they remain entangled in lawsuits related to the estate.
«Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over,» her lawyer said.
A source close to Angelina Jolie shared recently that the emotional toll from the divorce remains, especially as they continue to battle over the estate.
«Unfortunately, until Brad ends his lawsuit, this family won’t find the peace and healing they desperately need,» the source revealed.
In response, a source close to Brad Pitt asserted, «Brad has built an exceptional and growing business, and she chose to ignore their agreement deliberately.»
Jolie will continue her awards season journey on Jan. 5 at the 2025 Golden Globes, where she is nominated for her portrayal of Maria Callas in *Maria*.
