Andrea, Taylor Swift’s mother, shares a touching moment with a teenage fan who was seriously hurt in a shark attack during the Eras Tour

After surviving a shark attack earlier this year, Taylor Swift and her family created a memorable night for a young admirer.

Less than two weeks after Lulu Gribbin and two other people were attacked by a shark on different beaches in Florida on June 7 and had their left hand and a portion of their right leg amputated, the Swift family sent the teenager a «heartfelt» handwritten note and an invitation to the Eras Tour.

On November 2, Gribbin went to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to see Swift’s Eras Tour stop.

On November 3, she posted about the event on an Instagram account that chronicles her travels.

«About ten days after Lulu was injured, she received a box in the mail from @taylorswift with a handwritten note from her mom, Andrea,» said the caption. «They sent heartfelt well wishes right when Lulu and the Gribbins needed them and invited them to the concert of their choice whenever they were ready to attend.»

Gribbin was in the hospital at the time and was unsure of when she would be able to walk again. During the performance, «Lulu, her family and friends danced the night away at the show in Indianapolis and got to sit with Mama Swift herself.»

«A well-deserved celebration for them all!!» was the caption that ended the post.

We are grateful to Taylor and the Swift family for the incredible experiences that will last a lifetime.

As seen in the Instagram video, Andrea’s handwritten message included stationery that read «From the Desk of Taylor Swift» and a paper flower arrangement.

Ann Blair Gribbin, Lulu’s mother, posted an update on her daughter shortly after the shark attack in June.

At the time, she was «alert» and «chatting» following surgery.

«I have seen that Lulu is present. According to Ann’s blog entry on Caring Bridge at the time, «nothing about her personality or funny, intelligent, loving self has changed one bit.» «She may have lost her hand and her leg, but she is here, and we are truly grateful for that.»
