Amanda Seyfried looks sensational in a lace satin dress with a thigh-high slit at the premiere of her new film
Amanda Seyfried looked sensational as she attended the premiere of her new film Seven Veils during the 74th Berlinale International Film Festival on Thursday.
The actress, 38, who plays leading character Jeanine in the upcoming drama, wore a lace satin dress with a thigh-high slit.
The chic number featured a lace neckline and a small train, with Amanda adding a pair of platform heels.
She completed her elegant look by slicking her hair back into a wet-look style and adding some color with red lipstick.
Walking the red carpet at Berlinale Palast, the star flashed a smile while posing for photos.
Seven Veils follows a theater director (Amanda) who is dealing with repressed trauma in the lead up to her production of the opera Salome.
In addition to the movie’s lead, Seven Veils’ cast was rounded out by performers such as Rebecca Liddiard, Mark O’Brien and Douglas Smith.
The movie was directed and written by Atom Egoyan, who previously collaborated with the performer on the 2009 feature Chloe.
Principal photography for the feature took place earlier this year, with much of the shooting taking place in Toronto.
The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Before the event, Amanda said she would not be promoting her movie at the Toronto International Film Festival in a post that was shared on her Instagram account.
The performer was originally set to appear at the star-studded event to give a bit of extra exposure to the feature, and she had also been given clearance to do so by SAG-AFTRA.
However, the actress wrote a message to explain why she had chosen not attend the festival.
