According to Kate Hudson, she and Matthew are fully willing to go on

Kate Hudson is thinking about seeing a movie again.

During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, July 17, the 45-year-old actress disclosed that she and her former co-star,

54-year-old Matthew McConaughey, are amenable to creating a follow-up to their romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days from 2003.

Andy Cohen, the host, questioned Hudson about a possible sequel, to which Hudson replied, «I think they’re always thinking about that.»

She went on to remark that if there was a strong screenplay attached, she might think about making the movie.

«If Matthew and I were into the script, that would be all that matters,» the Glass Onion actor remarked. «I think we’re both totally open, it has just never happened.»

Based on the same-titled novel by Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long, the popular film stars Matthew McConaughey as advertising executive Benjamin Barry and Hudson as magazine writer Andie Anderso.

Hudson wore an iconic yellow dress in the film.

In the film, Andie starts writing a piece about how to get a man to leave you in ten days, and Benjamin wagers that he can make a woman fall in love with him in the same amount of time.

This leads to their paths crossing for a tense romance.

In an interview with E!’s Daily Pop in 2020, McConaughey said he would «possibly» return to the beloved film for a possible sequel.

«You could definitely develop a sequel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days because it’s set up for success. And that one was excellent. That was a pretty good romantic comedy, in my opinion,» the Oscar winner remarked.
