A former Chiefs cheerleader shares the heartwarming game day ritual Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have maintained since they began dating.

Stefanie Hill might not hold the title of cheer captain, but she’s certainly not a bystander!

The former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader, who spent six seasons with the Super Bowl-winning team, has seen it all—from four NFL Championship appearances to watching the blossoming romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift unfold right before her eyes.

In a TikTok video, Hill, whose cheer career culminated with a Super Bowl win in February 2024, shared her perspective on the couple’s relationship during game days, including the sweet tradition Swift has established in supporting Kelce.

Hill reminisced about the first Chiefs game Swift attended on September 24, when rumors about her relationship with Kelce first started circulating.

«The first game she ever came to, I almost lost it in the corner,» Hill recalled, laughing.

She joked that she didn’t know how to focus on her job because she had to keep an eye on the field while leading cheers and dances.

With one of the world’s biggest stars in the crowd, Hill admitted that her concentration was completely thrown off. «I physically could not focus because I’m thinking, ‘That’s Taylor Swift!’»

To add to the pressure, Hill’s cheer squad performed one of her own routines that day.

«We performed my choreography in the end zone. I looked up, and no joke, there she was, on the screen, clapping,» Hill remembered, still in disbelief. «She was watching our dance, and she liked it. If she didn’t like it, she wouldn’t have clapped.»

Hill went on to describe how Swift supported Kelce after the games.

With the cheerleader locker rooms located next to the players’ lockers, Hill had a front-row seat to the interactions.

«Those iconic pictures of her walking through the red tunnels in Arrowhead Stadium are right next to the player locker rooms,» Hill explained. «So many close encounters!»

At the end of each game, Hill said Swift would always meet Kelce by the locker room.

Toward the end of the video, Hill shared a humorous moment when she and her fellow cheerleaders turned into total fangirls.

«There was one game when we decided, ‘We have to wait here.

If we all stand by the door, maybe we’ll see her,’» Hill recalled. «We waited forever. I’m not even a Swiftie, but I was literally crawling on the floor, hoping to take a picture with her.»

In the end, Hill expressed her admiration for Swift, saying, «Overall, I loved having her as part of Chiefs Kingdom.»
